PTU Revaluation or Rechecking Those students who are not satisfied with their result in the examination conducted by the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University can apply for rechecking or revaluation. According to the new rules introduced by the university, if a student wants to apply for the revaluation or rechecking the answer sheet then the students will have to apply within 21 days of result declaration. Only an Assistant or Associate Professor with a minimum four years of experience will be appointed for this task. Students who will choose this option will have to pay a minimal fee to the university. The fee for revaluation is Rs 5,000 per subject. Not all the students will be eligible to apply for revaluation. The application of the student for revaluation of the exams’ answer sheet will be sent to the HOD and HOD will decide if the application of the candidate should be accepted or not. The university also gives a facility to the students. If any student is not happy even with the revaluation result then he/she can contact to Challenge Revaluation Board (CRB). CRB will do the revaluation again and the candidate will get the CRB revaluation or higher marks in that particular examination.
